Toddler Leather Shoes (1 - 5 Years)
The Toddler/Walker Range shoes are what we like to call our “Transition Shoe”; that is they will transition little feet from soft soled shoes. The Junior Range shoes feature leather uppers, super light-weight flexible soles and “FLEX-easeTM” technology. These fabulously soft, light-weight shoes will transition little feet to the next stage. .
If you are looking to buy school shoes, we highly recommend that you purchase school shoes which are designed, developed and sold as "School Shoes". We do not recommend that you wear SKEANIE shoes as school shoes, as they are not designed for this purpose.
SKEANIE leather shoes and boots are made from soft, comfortable leather and feature thin, flexible rubber and/or suede soles as this is recommend for growing feet. Our shoes should be worn for ‘special’ occasions. Our shoes are made from soft leather, which will scuff when scrapped along a rough surface. They do enjoy walking, running and playing; however, they do not like getting wet, being used as brakes on your bike or scooter, kicking a footy, climbing trees or walking through mud and dirt.
We recommend that you spray your SKEANIE footwear with a Shucare Water and Stain Repellent prior to wear. The best way to keep your SKEANIE footwear looking bright and new is to simply wipe over with a clean damp cloth or leather wipe. Applying Shucare Leather Conditioner and Renovating Polish will assist with maintaining their softness and colour. SKEANIE footwear should never be placed in the washing machine or dryer.
Metallic leathers are created using a hot press technique in which foil is bonded to the leather. Metallics are not as durable as regular leathers, and if the foil is scratched it will expose the leather underneath. There is no process we know of to re-foil shoes, so please tread with care!
SKEANIE shoes are handmade and sometimes the won't look identical, that’s because they’re not made by machines, they are made with real hands and love. SKEANIE Shoes are designed in consultation with Podiatrist and are designed to look after little feet.
